Born and raised on the mean streets of America, England, Nigeria, DJ Tûwasé, AKA Tûwasé Griner, started his musical journey when he was 14, when he was introduced to the underground by his friend Jeff Ramsey. It was at this moment that Tûwasé Griner knew he wanted to be part of 'The Scene'. He first became interested in the electronic music scene in In 1989, after which he bought his first set of turntables. At the age of 17, he had already developed a reputation for being preoccupied with computer's, music, equipment, visuals, production, and DJing. He did various warm up sets before the doors opened in clubs across the united states hosting major names such as DeeJay Tunes, Pat Sharp, Miss Represent, Clipz, DJ Storm, Mixmaster Brown, Silent Killa, and many more. In 2014, he achieved his big break when he Tûwasé realised he was big in the game. It was after this point when he started getting gigs at bigger venues such as Tarakaan and Stereo Live. Tûwasé is a fighter and since 2012 has been locked in the studio perfecting his craft. Suffice to say, the underground electronic music scene should be expecting big things from Tûwasé in 2016.
